We started Lustre Lagoon back in 2020 with a simple goal: to help brands grow through thoughtful marketing.
At first, we did a bit of everything—social media, ads, copywriting—but one thing became crystal clear. Email marketing consistently delivered the best results. It brought in higher conversions, lower customer acquisition costs, and, most importantly, helped our clients build real, lasting relationships with their customers. The more we leaned into email marketing, the more we saw its potential.
As we worked with more clients, we realized something else: when our clients succeeded, the causes they cared about gained momentum too. That’s when we knew we wanted to work with brands that were making a difference—brands driven by more than just profits.
So, we made the pivot to focus on what we do best: retention-focused email marketing. Now, we help purpose-driven brands achieve sustainable growth so they can amplify their impact—because when they thrive, the ripple effect goes far beyond the bottom line.
I’ve spent the past 5 years helping multiple 7-figure brands refine their retention and email marketing strategies, and I was recently a finalist in the 2024 Surrey Women in Business Awards in the Emerging Leader category.
Before launching Lustre Lagoon with my co-founder (and fiancé) Paul, I worked as a full-time Copywriter for a wellness brand and ran a personal blog on the side—so I know firsthand how powerful great messaging and thoughtful marketing can be.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me reading, planning my life on Notion, catching up on my favourite TV shows, or re-organizing my closet… again.
Fun fact: I can recite the alphabet backwards in under 3 seconds. Completely useless, but a fun party trick.
At Lustre Lagoon, I focus on client relationships and success, making sure our partners feel supported and get the retention marketing insights they need to keep their audience engaged (and actually excited to open their emails).
Outside of work, I enjoy just about any outdoor activity, playing golf, and training for my first marathon.
One of my biggest achievements in recent years is personally raising over $7k in donations by participating in the Tour de Cure BC, a 200km bike ride to help raise money for cancer research.
Fun fact: At the time of writing this, I’m on a 427-day Duolingo streak—and while I know losing it won’t erase all my French knowledge, I’m not willing to risk it.
